Reboot and install the Cyber scanner first, reboot and then reinstall the HP AIO. Do i need cyberview x sf v1.17 drivers#I personally would uninstall the HP AIO drivers and software uninstall the cyber drivers too if possible. The only issue I can see would be driver conflict if using shared files. Ill also ring my friend up later as he has Film and a Slide scanner attached but Im not sure they are both USB. I have a little Canon LIDE 30 and she has an Epson perfection. Ill get my sisters USB scanner and plug them both in. Not being able to use two scanners at the same time is probably correct and does seem logical, but having two or more scanners installed wouldnt/shouldnt be a problem as far as I can see and not being able to do this would defeat the object of USB in the first place I.e. I know of post where someone has a Canon LIDE 70 and a LIDE 80 installed both these scanners are USB. I cant ever see a reason to be using two scanners at the same time on one machine but I think that one instance of a USB scanner is incorrect. Hi Debra, regarding the USBscan.sys file, Ive never heard of that limitation before and to be honest it doesnt really make sense. Windows keeps crashing - it appears the twain drivers are the issue, though we are using the newest driver set on each. Tell everyone the the solution, when a variety of solutions have been suggested we need to know which one worked and if you did any additional work. What TO say: If someone gives you the solution to your problem thank them, also thank the other people who took the time to help you. What NOT to say: My PC isn’t working can you help me? Vague questions get Vague answers What was the last thing you did or installed before the problem started? What have you already done? You could try running the film drivers in compatibility mode and maybe running as Windows 2000 or Windows98 unless of course it installs Windows 2000 drivers for XPĬan you see and error messages? if so what are theyĪ few questions to answer before posting: What does the error say? Does it have an error code? e.g 0x0000008e Which Software Version are you using? e.g Office 2003 What is the make and model of the hardware? Epson R300 printer etc. Was this combo ever working together happily? Installing the scanner first and then installing the HP AIO? I find HP software to be very buggy and problematic. Have you tried uninstalling both the printer and the scanner. Do i need cyberview x sf v1.17 update#Newest drivers dont always mean best, unless there is a reason to update a driver, like to fix an issue or have greater functionality dont! Many people upgrade their graphic card drivers only to find games etc crash, or the frame rate drops.
